Wanyi YAO

Wanyi co-founded Apeiron Capital in 2017.

Prior to founding Apeiron, Wanyi was portfolio manager at Investec Asset Management between Jan 2014 to Dec 2016.
During her tenure at Investec, Wanyi launched and managed Investec's All China Equity fund in both Hong Kong and London. 

Before that, Wanyi was Investment Manager at Baillie Gifford between 2007 and Nov 2013. She worked both at UK equities
and global equities teams. Wanyi worked closely with the Chief Investment Officer on a Global mandate - Long Term Global
Growth Fund. In 2011, Wanyi relocated to Shanghai to set up Baillie Gifford's first investment office overseas.

Wanyi graduated from University of Oxford with a BA Degree in Mathematics.
